Meta’s President of Global Affairs, Nick Clegg, told CNBC on Friday that 40,000 of their 67,000 total global workforce work on “safety and integrity on our platforms.”
Clegg said the firm, owner of Facebook and Instagram, spent $20 billion on what effectively amounts to censorship of its users. He claims the company spent $5bn in one year alone.
The news was met by audible “hot mic” gasps from CNBC producers, who can be heard in the clip below remarking upon how the firm only has 67,000 employees in total.
The claim effectively admits Meta and its subsidiaries are liberal government propaganda arms spending a majority of their time and money on policing narratives, rather than “social media” firms that simply connect users. Silicon Valley’s mostly gay staff primarily exist to control information on behalf of pervert billionaires that own the Big Tech media.
